Re: Toddler Boys Underwear - what is the best way to buy? Believe it or not I've had fantastic luck buying underwear at Gymboree. They go on clearance regularly (like 1.50-2.00 a pair) and there are ALWAYS 20% coupons (and at least 3X a year there are 30% off Circle of Friends coupons) floating around in magazines (Parenting, Cookie, etc.) Also, during Gymbucks redemption time you use Gymbucks the way you would use a 50% off coupons. So that super cute $1.50 pair of underwear goes down to .75 each. I loaded up on underwear for my son during the last Gymbucks redemption period. I bought some for him to wear immediately and some for later (which will be wrapped up in a fun way as stocking stuffers--we do "fun" or luxe necessities as stocking stuffers--cool toothbrushes, underwear, shampoo, etc.)
When I was potty training him I put him in his sister's old underwear for the first few weeks. It looked silly but I was NOT about to clean mushy poop out of underwear so that way I could just toss them when he had a major accident. If you don't have that option check Dollar General or Big Lots. |
