Best deal on parmensan cheese- not powdered

I am always looking for the best deal on non-powdered parmesan cheese. I have Kroger, Meijer, Costco, Aldi.

Where have you found parmesan at the best price.

I don't know if you have the restaurant supply store called "CashNCarry", but they are in the West/MidWest.
Usually, if the area where you live is big enough to support a Costco, they have these stores, which any individual can walk into & shop without a special card.

I go there to compare prices and get a good walk in.
I just saw Shredded Parmesan 1#=$5.15, $4.50 cheaper than Costco.

I googled Cash and Carry and there is nothing in MI- only CA, ID, OR and WA. It sounds like you get a great deal! Thanks for responding.

I did Google awhile ago for friends in Texas & I think Ohio for restaurant supply stores. One was a subsidiary of CashnCarry, forgot name. HTH

I usually don't buy parmesan cheese, but one of my stores had a BOGO on 4C and I had coupons so bought a few jars. It's not powdered, but grated. Just ate some on spaghetti the other day and it was DELICIOUS! All the kids went crazy over it as well. Maybe one of your stores has/will have a sale to go with the coupon.
