No Publix but thanks for the tip on going with the windshield cleaner from automotive at Walmart! I would have never thought of that on my own.

another tip: buy a empty spray bottle from hba's trial size section, or maybe back in lawn and garden...whatevers cheap ..$1 or so, and youll have something to pour your gallon jug of windex into. just think...for $1.29 or so for 1 gallon you can fill up a 32oz spray bottle 4 times!!

Ok I know you are looking for cheap BUT I found one I LOVE and it's worth EVERY PENNY! It is from Bed Bath and Beyond by Hope and it's in a black bottle called glass cleaner. Hold your seat :) It's $5! Of course I use a 20% coupon but once you try it you'll never go back. Just my $0.02!

I just buy it at the dollar tree, they even sell refills for it. So if you have an empty bottle you can buy the refill instead of the bottle of it.

Buy a huge jug of vinegar from bulk area of local grocery store costs about 1-2 dollars for ~2 gallons.
Buy large ~32 oz bottle of rubbing alcohol from dollar store for ~$1.
Mix together in spray bottle previously used for glass cleaner or from health beauty section.
I have also used the auto jugs as mentioned above... but our store has raised their prices to almost $3 a jug in last few years and it's only about 1 gallon so for me making it can end up cheaper if I watch prices. Below is portions:
  • 1 part vinegar
  • 1 part alcohol
  • 1 part water
