Default Honey

Just wondering if anyone has any idea on where I can get a good deal on honey. We seem to go through it like crazy!! I know that's not an item that normally has a great deal but I thought maybe someone would know of a good price or had some ideas. Thanks so much!!

i buy local honey from where ever im living (within a 200 mile radious....helps with "local alergies" im told, tastes better to me anyways) ......usually a 10 lb container.....last one i bought was about 4 months ago, it was in the 11.00 range.......my dollar tree carries honey, and walgreens has those little honey bears...burn some register rewards and get them--use them as fillers...may be a more "costly" filler, but if its something that you use all the time then its money well spent

Most states have Beekeeper associations. You can contact yours and find some local members. My hubby is a bee man - that's how I know. They may have some honey at a super price and great quality. I have heard that local honey does help with allergies - especially seasonal ones.

We buy local honey for the taste and allergies (it works for me and my daughter). I usually buy local honey within a 30 mile radius if at all possible. The last jar I bought was $4.00 (from where I pick blueberries)

I bought in Costco and it was a good deal compared to the smaller bottles they have in other stores.

I agree about the local honey. It has many other health benefits. It also works well as a burn cream if you have a bad burn or sunburn.

I give a little local honey to my dogs - supposed to help with allergies. I get it at the Farmer's Market. They have huge jars of it (although I only buy the smaller jars). The more you buy the cheaper it gets.

I'm so jealous of everyone's cheap honey! We buy honey at Aldi, can't remember the price offhand.
