Sodastream Soda Maker anyone?

I saw the advertisement in this weeks insert about the Soda Maker. Looks very cool to me. Checked it out on their website. Does anyone have one of these or something similar? I'm looking to use it for bubbly water. I just like have the carbonation in my drinks.

If anyone has any experience with any of these, I would love to know.

My ad said they are available at Kohl's, but I haven't had time to go look or see how much they are. I don't know if it's worth the price if you want to use it instead of regular sodas- kohl's online has the flavoring syrups for $4.49 - it makes 6 2-liters at .75 each! Plus the cost of the bottle, water, and carbonating cartriges. I can get generic for less than that everyday, and name-brand for WAY less with coupons/sales.

I've seen a similar product online for $129, and the carbonating cartriges were $40 to make 220 liters, about .35/liter just for the carbonation.
