Re: Shelving for stockpile i personally like bookshelves( the big ones, can be found often at yardsales) dressers work for some stuff too(also a great yardsale find) for stuff on top, and the drawers can hold condiments, rices, mixes, boxed items.........i need shelves too, but one shelf at a time is being put up in my house, need the shelves by my desk installed first (hey all they shelves near my desk, hold bills and coupons and notebooks and things i need NEAR the desk---as my desk has no room) but we got wood plankes from lowes, and brackets so thats an option (i ended up spending $20 for 2 shelves and equipment to put the ones up---really irrated on that, frankenstein didnt take me, my neighbor did, and wasnt listening as to what i wanted or needed so the rest of my shelves i put up will NOT cost $10 each---off a giftcard for $25 for lowes, but i still feel like i wasted $20 cause it wasnt what i wanted, but it works ok sorry for a miny rant)
boards on cinderblocks are good too, i have the thought process of "if it fits, or i can use it to store or hold things its good" and that applies to shelves, baskets, wicker and mesh or wire, totes....... |
