Default Lowes Foods: Xtra Laundry Detergent

Has anyone ever used this kind of detergent? I was thinking of getting 2 bottles to go along with my transaction for 4 boxes of Frosted Flakes. Anything good or bad to say about it. I mean it is 1.75/bottle so should I be expecting to get what I pay for?

How about Arm&Hammer detergent? It is on sale for 3.49 this week and there is a $1/1 IP. Would I be better off going that way?

I have never used either of these detergents so I don't know.

Default Re: Xtra Laundry Detergent

Arm & Hammer and Purex, I have found do NOT remove all smells...for instance, if you have a potty training toddler or bedwetters, you may want to reconsider. I have not used the Xtra, but I have learned you get what you pay for for laundry detergent.

I also have tons of laundry detergent too. I know people that buy Purex and love it, but they may not have the same issues as I was dealing with when I tried it. I have always used Gain, All, Surf, they all worked fine for me and they all are cheaper than TIDE.
