I don't believe there is an Herbal Essences ECB deal right now. Are you by chance seeing "Essence" on your receipt with a quantity to earn reward of 3? If so, this is the Essence of Beauty (EOB) buy 3, get 5ECB deal for April.

The is the buy 2 for 12 get 2 back which includes herbal ess, pantene or head and shoulders. So maybe that is what they bought .

I have been scouring every store in my area for the past 2 weeks for the magazines or coupon booklets, and haven't been able to find them. Finally, on the last day of the deal, I found a little rack of Skin Effects sample cards on the shelf...with a $2 tear-off coupon on the bottom!! Expires 12/31/08!!!!! I asked if they were for sale b/c I didn't see a price, and no, they were free.

I also found a bunch of the cleanser and scrub. Got two at one store, and one at another. In the transaction with 2, one of the coupons beeped and the other didn't. In the transaction with the scrub by itself, it beeped. The cashier said it was for a different product even though it said "Any Skin Effects", but she pushed it through anyway.

I think it goes back to normal price tomorrow. The 6.99 tags were gone tonight. I got the last cleanser they had, so I ended up with 3 overall. Tonight was the first time I ended up with the $2 non-taxable issue, but it got figured out.
