Found this deal this morning. Haven't done it myself yet, but had a friend put it on her list... The clerk out our CVS told her they don't accept internet coupons unless they were printed from the CVS website, but that she'd do it this one time. I've never had trouble with internet coupons before, but just in case, I think I'll trim mine down to just the coupon...

Alavert-D tablets contain 5mg of loratidine (Claritin) and 120mg Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) -> take for allergy symptoms if you also have congestion

As someone else noted, people somewhere figured out that if you melt and then freeze sudafed at exact temperatures, you can make crystal meth so the FDA is putting a restriction on how much you can buy. So anything with pseudoephedrine is behind the pharmacy counter now. To avoid customers having to go to the pharmacy for things, many brands decided to reformulate their pills and use phenylepherine instead of pseudoephedrine. Phenylepherine doesn't work as well but also doesn't have the side effect that it can keep you awake at night.

Warning: To anyone with high blood pressure, check with your doctor before taking anything containing pseudoephedrine. It can and most likely, WILL make your blood pressure increase.

Thanks for the warning. I don't take alvert for allergies but this year has been bad good to know in advance what it will do.

This may have been posted already if so, sorry but there are $4 coupons in the inserts also. I just cut mine out and don't remember the dates but there were several. So you don't have to use IP's for this deal.

It looks like the limit is 2. I bought one this morning and said 1 more to reach limit.

I did this deal earlier today and it was awesome. I'm not sure how you guys are determining how many you can do total though - my receipt doesn't indicate that. Here's what it says:

Alavert, Buy 1 Get 4 EB
Quantity Toward this Reward 1
Quantity Needed to Earn Reward 1

...because I bought one, and I only needed one to earn a reward (unlike a deal like EOB, where you need 3). I think. :)

I went to a CVS that I have been going to since August and they told me the same thing. I asked since when, they said that has always been the policy. I told them that I have used IPs in the past with no problems, they said that should not have. I left everything and will just go to a different CVS.

all i ever knew was that -D means it has a decongestant in it, also.

the things we learn here. i don't even know what crystal meth is, let alone how to brew it. but i do know if they make it wrong, it can blow the garage door off the house. there are some incompetent meth makers near my sister's house.
