I received an email from Target today with a link to a Target store coupon for $3 off a $15 purchase in partyware (ie. paper plates, napkins, disposable utensils). The link is here. This coupon does not expire until 2/18/09

Sorry- I'll make it more clear in my op. It's paper products for a party- coupon refers to "partyware" but there are pictures of napkins, paper plates and disposable forks/spoons/knives.

I saw a bunch of the party stuff on clearance today... the kiddie stuff and regular stuff (next to invitations/greeting cards).

That's a tough one. I can't find anything on their website that makes it clear what is included beyond plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins.

I'm waiting for clarification from corporate. I bet we'll get a different answer from each Target employee we talk to, though. I think ultimately it's going to be up to the GSTL at your store to interpret.

I wonder if I can use it for the Chinet plates that I am going to pick up for the wedding (we have the peelies for 1/1 value pack, and then the free cut crystal cups WYB a value pack) hmmmm. this could be a fantastical deal

This is what Target told me (email), "Partyware is a generic term used for party supplies, typically, paper plates, cups, napkins, decorations. Some of these are seasonal. Please bring the coupon to your local store's Service Desk to ask the Guest Service Team Leader where these items are located in the store that qualify for the coupon."
