Oohhh...my 3 toddlers are starting to sniffle too. I need to go get some! That's great that it's for children and adults!! Also, on a side note, another great immunity booster is elderberry juice. I have the package here in front of me - and I definitely would call your doc first if your little girls immune system is that heavily compromised - my son is 14 and almost as tall as I am - so use some common sense when it comes to little kids, just because I said we took double doses last night!!!

As I'm looking over their website - and reading the german version of it, this reminds me that my Oma [Grandma] had two elderberry trees that she made her own elderberry juice, wine and also vinegar/marinade for deer and wild boar from.

I do remember when I was younger - on Sundays afternoon when the other old ladies from the neighborhood visited [just that she wasn't all that old back then - but grandmas are always old to kids, aren't they? No insult intended for the young grannies here ;o)] for coffee + cake, they'd always have a little liqueur glass of elderberry wine to go with it. Just that the wine wasn't really wine - it was more of a liqueur or cordial thickness as I remember. To bad she passed away last January - or else I would call and ask her.

Another thing she would do with the elderberry floretts - is cut them as they just opened, batter them in a waffle or pancake batter and deepfry, and powder with confectioners sugar - yum!

I looked over the site and I did send them an email asking their standpoint on someone that is immune suppressed taking this, or family members taking it instead to help stay healthy. I also asked if they have any coupons for their products because I am interested in trying them! Heehee... ;)

My store had the book so I found this out before reading this. Did this 3 times and bought some juice to reach $15 to use 5/15. Free $2.01 on each transaction.

I got some and had no trouble with ECBs. It took me a few times looking on the shelves to find it, but they had plenty. I got one to try and it really tastes pretty good.
