I just got back and something weird happened. I think the $8 came off after only 11 items. Also, the organic Kraft dressing is on sale 2/$4 on the shelf (rang up at 2/$5), and if you have the $2 printable that came via email from Kraft, it will be free (or 49c if it rings up wrong). Anyway, it seems to count towards the 12 item total.

ETA: on the Darigold yogurt question - it should take the $2 off automatically once you've scanned your 10th item, regardless of whether or not you use coupons. So, yes, if you had 10 $1/2 coupons, not only would you be very lucky, you'd be the proud owner of 20 free yogurts, and have $2 overage to put towards other things in your basket!

Did you know that Albies has a policy that if your item rings up wrong that you get that item free? I saw an anouncement type thing on the store shelf once, and stowed it away in my head for future reference.

Sure enough it happened to me sometime in mid April or early May when the Malt-O-Meal cereals were on a really good sale. Anyways one of them rang up full price and I went to CS desk, and sure enough I got my money back in full. HTH....

Looking forward to that 14 day sale w/all the beauty product goodies @1.99 ea....woo-hoo!
And my daughter will be loving her free yogurt again this week, (seems like the 20/$10 happens every other week) This time w/the $2 overage will be extra sweet though :)

So here's what happened to me tonight. We stopped by Albies while running some errands before dh's softball doubleheader. I went in to get one set of the B1G2 Free Ball Parks and free Sara Lee Buns. Well, it's not marked on the shelves which hot dogs qualify for the B1G2, so I grab the cheese dogs b/c I have a $1 blinkie. Then I couldn't find Sara Lee buns; I don't think my Albies carries them. I went to the self check and started ringing up my hot dogs. They rang up the 2/$6 sales price, but the two free ones didn't come off. I had literally $2 on me, so I was just going to cancel the transaction. I told the guy monitoring the self check that I needed to cancel and why. He calls over a manager to check b/c he thought maybe they were just ringing up wrong. So she checks and sure enough, the cheese dogs do count! So she enters in a $5 store coupon, a $2.98 store coupon and then a $.03 store coupon. Ended up being $0.99 for all three packs of hot dogs. Why she rang in all those store coupons I don't know and if she hadn't done that last $.03 one, I could have used my blinkie to get them for $.02! I'm not complaining about $.99 for three packs of hot dogs, though. Moral of the story, make sure you pay attention that your free ones come off b/c right now they're not!
