kellogg, sunshine & keebler milk deal issue...grrr!

Okay, so I went today to do the milk deal. I bought two packages of cheez-its and 2 package of eggo waffles (the $1.68 ones...not the ones pictured in the ad).

I read the ad by the waffles VERY carefully. It stated that you buy 4 "participating" items. The asterisk by the "participating" stated the following: Excludes all single items. The next statement was that all the items had to be purchased in a single transaction. Did not say ANYTHING about only including specific types of cereal or eggos or anything for that matter.

Anyway, I asked before I paid if my milk had come off my receipt. She pulls the receipt and says no. My cashier asks a different person what is included and she says on a few select items. I said, actually that's not true. We went to the sign and she told me that I wasn't reading it properly. I said, I was...the only thing it says that it excludes is single serve items and that I showed her how the eggos had the "fuel for school" sign by them. She said that didn't matter and that it was clear that it only included the three flavors. I said no it isn't. The picture just showed the word "eggo" on it. It didn't state in the picture a particular type.

I fought it enough that they gave me the two milks. Then they pulled down the sign. I told the customer service rep that she needs to pull ALL the signs b/c they ALL read like that.

Anyway, a heads up on the milk deal issue. May have just been my kroger in Finneytown...but thought I'd pass the info on.

hrm,sorry u had issues, it was my understanding it was just the 4/10 stuff in the ad.
