Meijer x 7/12/09 Kraft BBQ Sauce Deal

So tonight I saw a sign advertising buy 3 Kraft BBQ sauce get $2 off instantly on produce. So here is the scenario I came up with.

1 Kraft Dressing (not sure price but free or MM with the MQ and MMQ)
3 Kraft BBQ Sauce (again not sure price)
$2 in produce
$2 in meat

Use 3 x .55/1 Kraft BBQ Sauce (or other amounts if you have those), 1 $1/1 Kraft Dressing, 1 MMQ Kraft Dressing $1/1, $2 off Meat MQ WYB 1 Kraft Dressing and 2 Kraft BBQ sauce.

$2 will instantly come off for produce.

So if the BBQ sauce is on sale for $1 or less, it could end up being less than $1 for all of that.

At my three meijer's here in Cincinnati if the cashier knows anything about coupons then they will not allow you to use kraft coupons + $$ off meat/produce coupons. Talk about frustrating

I've tried it every place...what happens is "two many coupons" shows up. Some cashiers have pushed it through but this has turned into a YMMV here in Cincinnati (this includes Kroger as well...the two krogers I frequent most wouldn't let it go through)

I spoke to SM at both my favorite Meijer and Kroger. They both said that most things will let you...but Kraft isn't?!? They said it had something to do with the way the kraft coupons are entered into the system at corporate. Turns out that the two wonderful cashiers that have pushed it through got "talked to" b/c I said they had been letting me (having NO idea when I said something that it wasn't allowed). Since then I've not been able to show my face. I'm mortified that I got two people in trouble (two people who have been nothing but wonderful to me). UGH!

well thats a bunch of milarky isnt it? the one coupon is for meat/produce and the manu is for the item? I would ask coreportae

Which corporate? Should I call Kroger/Meijer or Kraft? This has really put a dent into my shopping. I was doing so well and then all of a sudden I hit this snag. And what was so weird was that both Meijer and Kroger did this the same week. I had been doing it both places for almost three weeks and then out of no where both began enforcing this new rule. I even asked the cashier at my favorite Kroger what was up and she said that they were told to keep their eye out for the Kraft produce/meat coupons b/c they couldn't be combined with Kraft product coupons. HUH???? She said that they asked why and the SM said...he didn't know. It sounded strange to him and that they never had this issue before. But it came down from corporate.

So now I'm thinking...you are right...I should call corporate (Kroger's that is) and see what the heck?

interesting. I'm in the Cincy/Dayton area and I had trouble at Walmart a month or so ago using the kraft dressing and then the produce q's together. I figured it was just walmart, but I haven't tried it at Krogers or Meijer.

I have had problems using these coupons too. Even though it SAYS $2 off meat, the coupon is coded for a Kraft product, so if I am already using Kraft coupons, it says I have too many coupons. If I don't have coupons for all the Kraft items, then it takes off for one Kraft item. Its a PITA if you ask me...

Huh, must be a YMMV situation, I used a produce/Kraft Q a month or so ago and didn't have problems. But I guess this would still be a good deal if you left out the meat and meat Q and still got the produce with 3 BBQ sauces.
