Is it bad that when I think about the possibility of moving somewhere more permanent after DH finally finishes his PhD, that I automatically start considering the desirability of certain locations based on what stores they have? Is there a CVS? Wags? Grocery stores that double or triple? Super K's that often do doubles?

No, it is perfectly normal You do not want to end up somewhere where you will be miserable because they have no CVS, Wags, double/triple (preferably triple) grocery stores. I lived in a town with 4 CVS within about 20-mile radius. Now I live in a town with 4-6 CVS within 10-mile radius (and probably at least 10 CVS within 20-mile radius.) And now I have Kroger that triples, instead of Kroger that doubles. Makes a huge difference.

Yea this week totally fracked up my plans. Now I have to figure out how to spend a $3RR during the 6/28-7/4 week or it will EXPIRE o the horror!

I just used my $3 RR by buying the following:

6 cans Pringles 6 X .99=5.94
3 mq $1/2 can = 3.00
1 20 oz. coke $1.29 (I was thirsty) but you can add a cheaper filler

Total $7.23 + tax .34 - $3 RR - $3 mq = $1.57 OOP

Technically the Pringles were only 22 cents with tax for 6 cans after RR and MQ's but the RR and MQ's can't cover tax so I had to add a filler to cover the 6 cents difference. My Wags is not that coupon friendly so they will not adjust up or down here.
