Hi everyone, am newbie but have been shopping with coupons for a while now. I love cvs but never could understand when they put limits on a deal like the fabreze deal.
The goal with many of these promos is to expose the product to "new" users of the product who might not buy it but for a compelling offer. They are hoping to have a very broad reach of customers. If there were no limits, then perhaps a small handful of customers would shelf-clear and no products would be left for the remaining customers. I suspect having the limits...they think it ensures that no one person can get a lifetime supply of the for free but rather a more equal distribution of the product to a wide array of people. Not sure that works since so many folks have multiple CVS cards and there is still shelf clearing but it's not as bad perhaps as Walgreens where there are really no limits.
I got $0.99 for the pantyliner deal today! I looked at the receipt and I was charged $0.89 like the ad said. $0.10 MM on this deal (if CVS doen't catch it first).

<SNIP>
It doesn't say ONE shampoo OR conditioner.
This is what I noticed, and that seems very ambiguous wording.
I don't know which way it's supposed to mean.
