They just built a CVS in my small town and I have been reading up on how to work with ECB's. I had to run in there today on my way to work and figured I would get a few things. I had $2 in ECB's (I think from some prescriptions) to start with.

Trans 1
1 Caliper pencil
1 caliper tape
TTL 2.48 - 2 ecb + tax .03= oop $0.51
Got 2.48 ECB

Trans 2
2 caliper pencils
1 trvl size aquafresh (DH is leaving tomorrow and needed trvl size can't believe I was out)
1 bag m&m's
TTL $4.14 - 2.48ECB's + tax .11 = $1.77
Got $1.98 ECB


this was a total spur of the moment trip when I realized I was out of travel size toothpaste. I am excited and can't wait for MUCH more.

I think the coupon is for if you buy one shampoo AND one Pantene conditioner, you get a styling aid for free. I really don't think the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner combos work. I realize the coupon is worded where you could take it that way but I think it may be "cheating" to use it that way. JMO

Hi everyone, am newbie but have been shopping with coupons for a while now. I love cvs but never could understand when they put limits on a deal like the fabreze deal. I just went to my CVS to check the coupon scanner thing (not officially shopping) and they had not only the Venus in the ad on special with ECBs but the Venus Disposables too. The disposables were $3.99 after ECB.

The wording on the coupon is really confusing. It says:

"Buy any one Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner get any one Pantene Styler or Treatment FREE" (emphasis theirs)

I can see how it could be taken either way. FWIW, the picture shows 2 items, a shampoo and a conditioner.
