Central Florida region Publix Bogo Dr Pepper Deal- How?

OK- Now that its's official with the Dr Pepper 8 packs being bogo- how exactly do we work this deal and, most importantly, explain it to the cashiers/managers that I know won't have a clue.

I've got at least 30 (probably more) of the flyers and DH drinks Dr P like water. I need enough to get thru this summer.

I was wondering the same exact thing! My paper says b1g1 free so I am thinking buy four and only pay for 1 w/the coupon???? Is this right???? Help!

Get six 8-pks of Dr. Pepper at $2.99.
Use two B2G1 free 8-pk Dr Pepper Publix q's form the Fire Up the Grill flyer.
The sale automatically takes off three of the cases for the BOGO.
You pay for one case at $2.99 and get 5 free.

Item 1 $2.99 You pay for this one
Item 2 $2.99 Free due to BOGO promotion
Item 3 $2.99 Free with B2G1 Publix store coupon
Item 4 $2.99 Free with B1G1 promotion
Item 5 $2.99 Free with B1G1 promotion

Mfrs for Dr Pepper (not Pepsi) can be used in addition.

Anyone else have a hard time believing this deal is true Dh goes through about 12-15 packs a month.

So for every 12 I buy I pay $6

So for $72 I can have 144 packs. I am considering at least half of that

LOL I so agree! I'm still confused about the whole deal and I've been asking for days! As long as their computer knows what its doing, though, I don't mind being confused.

I assume the computer knows what its doing, right? I would have figured (and remember, I'm a newbie around these parts) that it wouldn't work since you have two BOGO's and then the store coupon for the 6th, wouldn't the store coupon need to be the 5th one to "Get One" free? I'm soo confused, I hope Publix doesn't ask what I'm doing! Items 5/6 are what throw me off, since I would have thought you'd have bought #5 and gotten the B2G1 then free, and the B1G1.

It gets confusing if you try to line it up. The register should take care of it, though. Items 2, 4, and 6 will ring up $0. The coupons will take off $2.99 twice at the bottom because you've bought the six items you need to use two coupons. You'll only give yourself a headache if you try to figure it out deeper than that. :-)

Typing it out doesn't always help, lol. I'm not much of a linear thinker, myself. I try to think of it as buying 6, three are free due to the bogo promo, and two are free due to the B2G1 Publix coupons. That leaves one to pay for.
