Foodlion: A1 Steak Sauce or Marinade

The marinades are 2/4.00! So free! I bought 3 marinades and 2 steak sauce. Good cookouts this summer.

well I never really measured, just tasted as I went along. a few squirts of ketchup and a few dashes of worcestershire sauce. totally technical I know lol but just mix a little of one and a little of the other. if it's off then add a little more of one and mix it up, taste and see if it needs more of the other. ideally you will have more ketchup than w.s. it is important to use heinz w.s. for the flavor. I only buy hunt's ketchup so that's how I have made it (on accident believe it or not), but using heinz ketchup may make it taste even better.

i discovered this when I was trying to make my own A1 or something close to it. I was WAY off from A1, but stumbled upon heinz 57 flavor, then tweeked it to the flavors we like

the marinades are AWESOME! so good on nearly everything

The marinades at my FL were 2/$5, so I stuck with the sauce.

Hello all,Does anyone know if the marinades and steak sauces are still on sale? I couldn't make it to the store, because I had my precious baby girl on Monday, so I'm still a little out of the loop. I would LOVE to get some more marinades.

Mine were still on sale and had tags that stated end date of 6/2

Yep, still on sale, but if you have a Lowes Foods near by, better deals are there. Check the LF thread for details.

If you go and they are out of A1 check the meat department behind the counter of meat. I found a bunch there yesterday when the regular shelves were empty.
