I know what you mean! A lot of times I think I am buying a gargantuan amount of 'stuff' and will definitely have to unload half of it at the food pantry. Then I ask among friends and family and learn that I can give most of it to those people. Even this time with the excess of soups.... I thought I'd give at least 80 cans to the food pantry. I think I'll only end up giving about 30 - 40 as just about everyone I asked wanted the soup. I think with the job instability these days, people are thinking more of 'stocking up' for a rainy day.
