Hi, I've done this deal three times... once worked great. The second time, they refused the $10/50... saying it didn't matter if the coupon didn't state "after manufacturer's coupons"... that they wouldn't allow it. Grrrrrrrrrr. The third time, it worked slickly as well... the cashier even congratulated me... and he was a manager. I think these $10/50 are YMMV... no matter what they say. Frustrating.

And I worked in the $10 cat deal on each of mine... although I was flawed on a bit of it. First of all, you have to realize that if you have the 10% discount, the $10/50 needs figured with an additional 10% added on first. Second of all, if you are using items that are on sale for B2G1 free, you can't count the free item as part of your $30. It can be complicated to figure it all out. I love that 10%, but sometimes it's a pain. Mine is over on the 20th of nov. and I'm tempted not to try to work it out again. Just makes the deals cleaner. If you don't work the deals though, the 10% is definitely a bonus deal!

Alaska actually got one of the $10/$50's in today's paper. I'm in shock. lol It's only valid for three days though. I usually don't get to the store till Wednesday. The fine print doesn't make sense though. It says: $10 savings excludes PURCHASES of Liquor (so on and so forth), Pharmacy Prescription purchases, CarrsPlus/Safeway Club Card Savings, Carrs/Safeway store coupons, sales tax. (no doubling stuff here) One coupon per transaction. Cannot be used in conjunction with another offer.

You don't "purchase" club card savings or store coupons. That makes no sense. So if it excludes the card savings, it's regular shelf prices that it takes into consideration? I don't understand the store coupon thing. Before store coupons? After store coupons? Doesn't mention MF coupons at all. Other than "another offer". *shrugs* I dunno. It's worded very badly.

I've never had a problem with them using it before all coupons are scanned. My cashiers have never refused them, and I hand it over first. We'll see. I may not get to the store at all to use it.

you need $50 after club card saving....thats really the only thing they ever care about. it doesnt say after MQ's but sometimes youll get a picky cashier, that even includes those...but since your area doesnt get alot of these, i doubt youll have a problem.

I did this on the 6th.

Now Here's what I bought. *
8 Betty Crocker Potatoes 1.25 x 8 = 10.00 - 8 (.40)Qs doubled = 3.60
1 Wesson Oil 3.99-1.00/1 IP = 2.99
8 Progresso Chicken Broth 16.00 - 8 (.50)Qs doubled = 8.00
1 Toll House Butterscotch chips 2.50 - 1.00/1 IP = 1.50

Paid 16.09 plus tax and got 10.00 back. Not a $$ maker but pretty good to me for what I got.

Thanks again for putting all the work into getting this up for us. I was able to rep Merc but need to spread the love before I can rep SuperBob again, lol.

If I come up with any good scenarios for this, I'll be sure to post them.

I see a few good ones on there. Stouffers family size is on sale this week for $6.99. If you buy 4 plus whatever else you need to get to the $30 mark, use $1/1 stouffers coupons that expire today (from an SS, not sure what week), that makes for some cheap and easy meals.

My scenario is this:
4 stouffers $27.96
1 safeway sugar $2
1 flour $1.50

Plus I will buy more to reach the $50 mark so I can use the $10 off $50.
I will use my 4 stouffers coupons and my doublers. If I do not use any other coupons besides the $10 one, I would pay $34-- and get the $10 cat at the end.

Another one I see is glad bags which are $2.50 each. At Albertsons I found B3G1 free coupons. If I bought 12 boxes and use my $10 cat from previous purchase, I could get 12 boxes for $12.50 and then get another $10 cat to print at the end.

Of course I would probably try to get that total to $50 as well so I can use another $10 off. HTH someone...

I did see on another forum thread here (Von's? Randall's?) that their CS person told them the list is 46 pages long. Now maybe that region is different, or my store didn't have a "complete" list, or maybe that really is all there is. I don't know. Maybe y'all can keep trying to get a list from your stores to see if there is more.

Congrats! You deserve a break today ... or whatever the saying goes. Ours are only good for three days as well, but I never have a problem using them. Only been refused a couple of times with persnickety checkers, but a manager always overrode it "just this once."

Where do I find the $1/1 Wesson IP? The database has a $1/2 IP. I would much rather have the $1/1 (of course). Thanks!
