CVS November Monthly Deals *PICS IN POST #2*

I brought 2 yesterday and was charged 5.50 for 2, and I used my 2 1.00 q's too, darn didn't get any ecb's back either, right size, right paste, don't know what happened, there's always different prices on stuff at my CVS, always have to hold my breathe and see if it's going to work out, very stressful.

I went today with 2 qs not sure what the limit was. The front of the monthly book said limit of 2. I scanned my card at the coupon scanner and it printed a $2 off $10 oral care purchase. I debated and decided that even if the limit was 2 I would still make money. Either I bought 2 and paid $5 and got back $7 or I paid $6.50 and got back 7. Well as you know the limit is 4 so I got $10.47 back. Not bad.

Can you buy all 4 in one transaction and still get 4 of the 3.49 ECB back?

You can buy all four in one transaction but you will be stuck with a big ECB of $13.96. It's easier for me to split my orders up so I can get smaller ECB's to use when I need them.

I went tonite to get my toothpaste and at the bottom of my reciept it kept saying something like amount purchased towards 3, amount needed 1. Even after I bought one more, the limit stayed the same. It never said limit reached and I just kept rolling the extra bucks. It beeped when the cashier scanned the extra buck but she just pushed it through. I asked her why it kept printing out ECB's when I had reached the limit of four and she said that they must have increased the limit so it was okay. I didn't wanna cheat them out of toothpaste if I had reached the limit, but the cashier said it was okay, so I went ahead and did it. Has anyone else had this happen tonite? Either it's a computer glitch or they have increased the limit. I ended up buying 9 on my card and it still doesn't say that the limit is reached.

it sounds more like a computer glitch than limit increase.

Sounds like, if you did back to back transactions that the computer did not have time to catch up. The ECB probably beeped because they are all exactly the same. Same code on each one? Somewhere on that ECB there is a little number (i think at the top right corner.) Each one probably has a 4, meaning they are really just copies of each other and would beep after you used one.

I thought I knew the answer to this but does anyone know how much the oral-b picks are? They are 2 ECB with purchase; are they worth it?
