I would go with gifts or furniture and especially items that have rebates. A while back I saw a leather recliner at Kroger with a rebate on it. I've also seen grills with rebates. Maybe go to the rebate forum and get as many different forms as you can by trading or even just the printable ones. That way you are getting product but also getting part of the money back. After I've done my Christmas shopping and all the rebating possible I would get staple items I rarely get free: oil, flour, sugar, spices, jarred sauce.

I would probably start buying gift cards. I would buy smaller increments over a few trips. Maybe, just add those in with a few groceries, so its not that big of a deal.

wow - lucky you!!! I'd do a little of what everyone said and then maybe use some for inexpensive store items (canned, dried, etc.) and donate them to the local food bank.

Have fun shopping!!!

EDIT: Oops, forgot I was using my wife's computer.

So we went to spend some of the money this afternoon after church. Our total was around $38 after all our coupons and all the sale prices. They've got some great 10 for $10 offers. We really "splurged" on a few things. We even got some Little Debbie Star Crunches...mmm good .

I threw in a $50 Kroger gift card.

No problems at all. Total was $87.65...$3.65 after the $4 OYNO's.

Only $344 left to spend.

I would start making small trips and throwing gift cards in. FYI...you could put it all on Kroger gift cards, which will never expire and then use those gift cards to buy other non-Kroger gift cards at a later date. You can use Kroger GCs to buy other store gcs, but you can't use a Kroger GC to buy another Kroger GC. Hope that helps! There is nothing on the catalinas that state cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

Did you order the glades in? I can't find enough to use all my coupons and was thinking about asking if I can order some in to use... has anyone tried this? I would love to do it and I would have the same problem as you!

Yes that is what we did. They ordered in 102 Glad Oil Warmers for us to use with our coupons on.

Funny enough we still haven't used all our coupons. Good thing Food Lion is doing the same deal so we can use the rest of the Q's there.

HTH

Does Kroger still have the $599 Sharp flat-screen TV for sale with the $40-ish Bud MIR? That would be my first thought. Mmmmmm.....TV.... :)

We don't need a TV. We got a 50" plasma with the help of CVS, Circuit City, and DirecTV. We paid only $250 OOP.

Out of curiosity, how much was your OOP to get all those cats? I tend to break mine up in smaller orders, and just keep rolling them.
