This is the first time our Kmart had the doubles. I am rather certain they were not prepared for the couponers on a Sunday morning. They handled it beautifully.

Our Kmart has the Beauty Books up front with Dove, Almay, Revlon, L'Oreal, Calgon and a ton of other coupons, many more than $1.

I suspect I will be at Kmart every day this week.

Saved $158.89, $67.26, which included 2 $9.99 Fruit of the Loom undies for hubby (used $1/2 Q), Shoes for me (used $5 off 20 Kmart Q), Dr Scholl inserts 9.99 used $2/1 coupon and 2 pkgs of easy ups 11.49 ea (2-1/50 q's)
Freebies I got:
Colgate kids toothbrush (2/$5) used 1.50 tearpad - .50 overage
Colgate kits toothpaste $1.99 used 1.50 tearpad
Easy Mac & Cheese $10/10 used $1/2
Kashi Cereal $2.50 ea used $2 Q doubled $1.50 overage
Gillette Mens Shampoo $3.50 used $2/1 for .50 overage
Kotex Lightdays pads $1.29 ea used .75/1 for .31 overage

Went this morning and I think I found a possible overage deal.

L'Oreal eyeshadows are BOGO. The free one comes off automatically. My receipt looks like this:
Eyeshadow BG $6.49
Eyeshadow BG $6.49
item free -$6.49
Eyeshadow BG $6.49
Eyeshadow BG $6.49
item free -$6.49

I gave the cashier (4) $2 L'Oreal coupons from the beauty book and I am 99.99% sure they each doubled. It is really hard to verify from the receipt because of course they don't match up to items. But they matched up with the original $6.49 price on each, and do not seem to "attach" to the free one.

What happened was this:
Eyeshadow $6.49
Eyeshadow $6.49
Free -$6.49
Eyeshadow $6.49
Eyeshadow $6.49
Free -$6.49
$2 Q doubled -$4
$2 Q doubled -$4
$2 Q doubled -$4
$2 Q doubled -$4
= $3.02 overage

Now if you got the $3.XX eyeshadows or another makeup item that is less than $6.49 you could do even better.

My totals ----
Pre-coupon: $268.13
Coupons: -$243.14
OOP total: $24.99 which includes $6.29 tax

I will be returning (4) Glade scented oil clean linen holders. For some reason I thought they were $3.99 but in looking at my receipt they were $5.99 - $2 q doubled. I don't need candles enough to spend $8 OOP on these.

I bought a few things w/o coupons, but we needed, Probably $40. I started out at $350 & ended up at $96 so I was quite pleased. I bought lots of HBA stuff already listed. Not listed I bought

Ben Gay $4.99 -$2 = .99
Nivea Chap Stick $1.99-$1 = free
Dove Chocolate bar $1.99- $1 = free
SF Lifesavers $1.99 - $1 =free
No Nonsense Slik stockings $3.99 had $2q on it =free

I complimented the manager on how well stocked the store was & how pleasant the staff was.

Gerber baby food is on sale 10/$10 this week. Check and see what coupons you have. I had several $1/2 that I traded for a long time ago so I got 8 free and will be going back for more:)

I thought the same thing and my receipt also reads that way. When I calculate it all out though by memory of what coupons I had and what they should have doubled to, I'm not getting any overage. I'm thinking that it shows that way but then comes off later with other coupons. I could be wrong and my other coupons may just not have doubled correctly but my bill comes out perfect when I calculate that I got all 4 eyeshadows for free (I got the 3.69 ones) with no overage.

My mistake--I didn't look at the Qs closely. And with a 2-year-old in tow, I wasn't about to shop for greeting cards. He was patient enough while I found deals, cards would have been pushing it.

Very Very disappointed with this trip. They hardly even carried anything I had coupons for! And most of the ones they did carry were like, tons more expensive than the regular grocery store (and this was a Super Kmart I went to in Rome, GA).

Here were my totals $152.66 down to $24.41. Of that $7.72 was tax.

I really really could have done so much better had they actually carried most of the products I had coupons for. I'm Bummed!

Though, it was kinda nice when everyone in line behind me cheered and clapped when the cashier shouted out my totals! LOL! I wonder if they were happy for my savings or for the fact that I was done? hee hee!
