So turns out the reason it is and was ringing up $2.99 is that this is the Monthly deal for october. LIMIT 6 for buy 1 Colgate MaxFresh with beads or Maxfresh with breath strips and get $2 ECB back. That would explain it.

Well I only have 2 cards but I would say the easiest way would maybe to go to different stores & when checking out say you'd like a cvs card.

oops sorry! I guess my question was kinda dumb if that's all I have to do lol. I thought they wouldn't give me more than 1 card...I couldn't remember if they asked for an ID to get one or not (I've had mine forever now).

the extra bucks that you recieve from each card must be used with the card that produced them...make sure you can keep everything straight.

LOL that's why i only have 2, one i use for anything & everything. and another one for REALLY good deals with a sucky low limit but i want more

I'm new to this and still learning the ropes at CVS!

Just returned from CVS. Purchased 2 Colgate Total. I was able to use the $1.50 coupon (2) for the Total Advanced which after ECB made the purchase free! On top of that, when I scanned my CVS card on the instore coupon generator, it gave me a $1 ECB!!!
Made my day!!!

2 - Colgate Totals = $5.00
- $1.50 coupon
- $1.50 coupon

=$2.00 OOP

+ 2.00 ECB
+ 1.00 bonus ECB!

=$1.00 profit!!!

So they paid me $1.00 to take home 2 tubes of toothpaste. I'm loving CVS!!!

My stores only had 2 kinds of Softsoap marked at .99 and both were out. The regular clear was marked full price.

All of mine were marked at .99 cents and we did have the booklets.

Only the $2.49 bottles were on sale for $.99 at my store.

The October books were out at my store but they didn't have the shelf tags out yet.
