DEAD: Walgreens 7/13 - 7/19 (ad scans enclosed)

I solved my Powerade dilemma since my Walgreens wont let me use coups for over the price of the product. I had two of the $1 coupons and found a grocery store selling them for $1 each. So got those two free. Found a 3rd Powerade coupon for 75 cents that I can now use at Walgreens with the 89 cent 7 day coupon, so will get the 3rd one for 14 cents. Good enough for me!

-$1.03 OVERAGE

I guess it is a YMMV thing

I should just learn my lesson and give up on WG. But, I haven't and I'm still getting screwed. I did the razor deal and the BOGO was only entered for 3.99. He said 'that's the price after the coupon'. I tried to inform him about how coupons work but I really just didn't have that much time. I have since talked w/ some higher Mgr. on the phone and he's going to correct next time I'm there. I really, really need to stop giving them more chances.

Sorry to hear that, but I totally get it. My Target is the same way. I read tons of good deals on here, but every time I go, I get jacked. Then I end up paying more oop than I had planned, and I get pi$$ed at myself for even going in the first place. Some stores and employees just vary, within the chain. Maybe take a break for 6 months and then go back and see if things have changed?

I tried it today but it didn't work. Can someone help me to find out why?

I bought 2 envelops with a 7 day coupon;

and 2 Colgate, 6 oz:

7 day coupon -> IVC -> 2 MFC

In the end, the IVC $2/2 wasn't taken off and I still had to pay about $2 for the 2 toothpastes.

Did I do something wrong?

At WAGS, check out at the cosmetic counter! I am telling you it works great every time! There are less or NO people in line and they are totally willing to help (in my experience).
On any BOGO, write in the amount....in the instance of the razors $5.99, which is the sale price. That way they don't have to wonder or try to fix it, or enter in the wrong amount.
AND only hand them the MFQ's!!!!!!! When they are scanning the last MFQ, then hand them the 7-day and the IVC.
If you have more MFQ's than # of items, then you will get the Beeping which is when you need to have a filler.
I actually love WAGS! Gotten a lot of great/free deals there.
