Default walgreens $5 Lysol Reward

I am not sure if anyone else has posted this (if so, please forgive me, I am new to this) but if you go to Lysols website, they have a promo out that if you buy 2 Lysol products and take your child for a check up, they will pay you $5.00!! I thought to put it here since Wags has had some Lysol cleaning stuff on sell. Thanks and I hope this is helpful to someone.

Thanks, repped ya. I will probably do this (if I remember), because I would have bought the product anyways. I had to laugh when I first read this. Buy lysol = "No problem, I can get that cheap or free." Go to Dr. = "Why? Is someone REALLY ill?" I avoid that place as much as possible. I have an insurance card that looks good in my wallet, but pays nothing! But I suppose at least one of my kids will need a check-up in the next year or so.

Has anyone tried this. What do they need from the clinic? Do I have to send them the original statement? I think that has a lot of information on it that I wouldn't sell for $5. Can I just send a receipt from when I pay? I don't think that such a receipt would specify that it was for a check-up, or even which Dr. we had seen. It would probably just have the clinic name, amount, and date.

I did this back in March. I have an infant that is still doing Well-Baby check ups regularly - so I already had the credit card receipt from a Dr. visit.

I sent in the form from the Lysol website, the original Walgreens receipt, a copy of my card receipt from the Dr., and a copy of the detail from the Dr. office.

The detail from the Dr. office has a lot of information, but not mine. It is all of the procedures and the Dr. circled what was performed. At the bottom it has my name and my son's name, our address and our insurance info. But I had the Dr.'s office fax this to me, so it is blurry and they couldn't read the numbers if they had to. My advice would be to black out that info if you don't want them to see it. (your name and address are already on the Lysol form)

I received my $5 rebate very quickly!!

PS - I purchased Lysol wipes on sale B1G1 $2.79. Had 2 50cent Mfg Qs. And received the $5 rebate. - AND the packages were shrink-wrapped B1G1. (I had already taken my son to the Dr. so I didn't really count that in the cost). So 4 pks Lysol wipes for $3.21 Overage!! Great deal!! Especially for those with little ones that go to the Dr. all the time anyway......

I use these like crazy to clean all the baby toys and equipment!
