I'm not digging the July Monthly at all =P
Bummer.
One thing though.... remember the June Listerine Smart Rinse, CVS bandages & Oral-B toothbrushes started out as Limit 2 this month too.... then we found out the limits increased.... so we'll see what happens in July. I'm just hoping for better weekly ECB deals, because I have $100+ in ECB's to roll each month. I guess I'll have to do as many as I can this coming week since July doesn't look so hot....

Since the dealios are sooooo bad for July, what is everyone going to do with their ECB's that are going to expire in July?? I have $40 each on two cards that I don't want to lose.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'll probably just do what I consider 'cashing out', which is buy stuff I want/need that don't produce ecb's, so I don't have to let them expire, and then just start afresh working them back up like I did when I first got my new cards, trying to do it with as little oop as possible. I honestly don't mind throwing a few bucks CVS's way once or twice a year after all the free stuff they give me the rest of the year....besides, it'll add up on your oop, so you end up with some ECB's at the end of the quarter anyway for doing it this way.

If you get stuff for free after ECBs, it doesn't add to your quarterly spending total.

Yes, I know, that's why I said I would CASH OUT my ECB's, then when it comes time to restart CVS shopping in August, I'll be paying a little OOP b/c it's like starting on a new card-no ECB's to bring that initial oop down. It's not much, but it's more than I would've had oop if I just kept rolling my ECB's through the month I'm not really shopping there. Does that make sense now? Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Thanks for the peak, as dismal as it is. I'll definitely be cashing o ut some ECBs. I'm already having trouble rolling them, July will just make that worse, it looks. Unless there are some hot weekly deals, but somehow I doubt it.

Some suggestions:

1. Well, milk is cheaper at CVS than any grocery store in this city
2. MIR's. Maybe even glucose monitors? You should contact the co. offering it first because if they see the low balance due to ECB's, they may refuse a refund. But if they have no current coupons out for the monitor, they may accept it.
3. Rainchecks: I intend to get rainchecks on a great deal next week, cause I know they'll be out. Plus I have several others.
4. Ask a neighbor, friend or family member that doesn't normally go to CVS to check out their ad & see if there's anything they need & let them pay you back in cash while you use your ECB's.
5. Sell me your card & ECB's for half-price!
