Right now the small packages of Nabisco cookies and crackers are on sale 3/$3 with in ad coupon and kraft deluxe macaroni and cheese is on sale for 2/$3 (And it qualifies for the $5 Kraft rebate). I have confirmed the packeges on the coupon work with the planters coupon, no problem! Also, select planters are 2/$5. I got overage today from the planters.
This is my transaction
10 Deluxe Mac 15.00 (Also velveeta mac or Taco Bell bowls)
6 nutter butter 6.00 (in ad coupon, limit six)(also chips ahoy or ritz)
5 Planters 12.50
minus -15.00 (5 $3 Planters coupon)
18.50
less $5.00 kraft ESR
less 6.50 RR
Net 7.50 for 15 macs, 5 peanuts and six boxes of cookies!!!

There were blinkies for $1/3 Kraft mac-n-cheese at Publix this week. This would make the deal even sweeter.

Today I bought 6 planters nuts = $15
Used (3) $2 off coupons
Total $9.00
Rec'd $6.50 RR
I asked the cashier if I could use the nuts for the Kraft rebate and get back $5 - she said NO. She said the only way it would work is if I paid $15 in cash before coupons. And I can't do rebates online - just mail. Is this really true??
Second transaction.
Total $4.20 after coupons
rec'd $6.50 rr -made a $2.30 profit
Still didn't spend enough. So heres the big question for you experts - I still didn't spend $15 for the kraft promo, $4.20 + $9.00 = $13.20. So is it really true I won't qualify for the Kraft rebate just because I used coupons?? It doesn't seem fair. I shouldn't complain I got 11 jars of nuts and 2 koolaids for .20 when you factor in the RR, but another $5 would be even better!!!!! Thanks for your help.

To say it plain and simple, the cashier does NOT know what he/she is talking about. You need to spend $15 BEFORE coupons to qualify for the rebate.
Thank you!! I've never done a Walgreen's rebate, only Rite-aid and the cashier was very stern when she was telling me the rules! Ha, I guess she didn't know what she was talking about!!!!

the sterner they are, the less they know.
she doesn't make the rules, and as you just found out, she doesn't even know them.
But your best bet is to be really sweet to her everytime you see her. ask us your questions. as a group, we know more about these things than 20 store managers, 25 cashiers and 30 CS operators combined.
