re: (Walgreens) June 1-7th AD. Rynolds Wrap Tinfoil :D Is 0.50 for 20 feet really a good deal? I was really happy about scoring a bunch of boxes when it was 1.00 minus a 1.00/1 coupon and only had to pay tax. I passed on the last deal that was 1.25 minus a 0.75 coupon. But I am running low.
Well, let me do the math...
• Target has a 200 ft roll (I think--haven't bought any in awhile).
• If I bought 200 sq feet in this deal, it would be 10 boxes (not that I have that many coupons) and 5.00. Tax on the Walgreens deal (1.25 * 10 * 0.06) is 0.75, so my oop would be 5.75.
• Can I get a 200 ft roll for less than that?
Okay, I was going to calculate the effect of tax and coupon and find the max good price on the large roll. But, I'm feeling lazy. I'll be at Target today anyway. I'll just look at the shelf, and then apply tax and coupon to that, to see how it compares.
