The ad says:
"buy (2) American Express gift cards of $50 or more + get $5 extra bucks"

Is this $50 each or $50 total? The activation fee is higher for the $50 card than it is for the $25 card. So, it might not be cheaper than getting two $25 for $7.90 in fees.

Charmin, Bounty & Pampers are all P&G coupons. Each month (usually the first weekend) P&G puts out a new insert of coupons for their products. There will be a new P&G insert on 6/1. It most likely will have Charmin, Bounty & Pampers coupons in it. So, no worries.

Nope, you're absolutely right; I missed that. My eyes were dazzled by the picture of the $25 GC's above the Amex ones. I'll edit my other post so no one gets caught up in my error. Thanks for catching it; I would've been upset when I found out the hard way.

I don't know what it is exactly. I just know I've heard people say it is higher.

Also, some stores 'activate' their weekly deals on the Saturday afternoon/evening before. Mine does this, and I've already warned them to stock up on Pampers size 3's b/c I'm coming in that Saturday to go ahead and do my diaper deals. That way I don't have to buy bunches of papers the next day just for the Pampers coupon. Plus I have ECBs expiring on the 31st that I've earmarked for the deal. :D

If you ask, your store will probably tell you when they start the weekly sales. Also, if they've already got the next week's sale tags up, they have to honor them. I think they normally start the deals in the register as they're putting up the tags. :)
