you can definitely buy 4 giftcards to receive the 2 X $25 promotional gift cards and send in the 2 rebate forms in one envelope. i did that for the last amex promotion with banana republic/gap/oldnavy/l&t. the easiest way to get rid of the cards before they expire (3 months after issue date) is to buy gift cards to the stores (ie, a $25 or $50 banana republic gift card using the promotional gift card(s) ). i had been using the promotional gift cards to buy clothes at banana republic, but it got a little annoying when i had some clothes price adjusted and the credit kept going back to the amex giftcard. also a good way to make sure the promotional gift card doesnt expire on you before you get to use it! :) also, border gift cards can be used at amazon to purchase books, in case any of you are interested in buying books from amazon!
