Can't wait for this one! Hope it goes smoother for me than the lifesaver BOGO. Checked today to make sure they have plenty of stock and they do! I'll be there first thing Sunday morning on 7/20. May even go to the 24 hr one shortly after midnight. I must be crazy! Don't know what I'm going to do when I start school next month and my time on HCW and my time for trips to CVS/Wags/ grocery is limited! Ahhh...

I always give them my ECBs first because it brings my OOP total down a substantial amount. I can see fiddling to "find my card" as the products are being scanned but then comes ECBs, THEN my manu coupons. Since I have to give the ECBs first she will have to have my card in order for the ECBs to be accepted. KWIM?

So I quess I am asking if you are paying with your ECBs after your manu coupons in order for this to work?

According to customer service, it is company policy to accept a bogo q with a bogo sale. I checked with them before I ever tried last year on the vive sale last summer.

I have learned that you should NEVER give ECB's first. The order in which I have learned is the best for the lowest OOP is as follows: $/$$ First then any CRT'S then CVS Store Q's then the Manu Q's and then Your ECB's in order from HIghest to lowest. I have learned that in my state of FL this susbstantially lowers your tax for some reason as well.

Edit: Not sure why but it's opposite from posters below when I go. My totals are usually $0 to negative. I hardly ever pay anything for a $100 order. Tax comes out to between 1 and 3% and actual tax is 7.5% i think. So not sure why but when I did it other ways and Tax was considerably higher. W.e Works I guess. Florida is a State where you have to pay tax on Manu q's, so Giving them in any particular order shouldn't effect the tax at all. It just works out better in my orders handing things in this way.

However bottom line on this thread is that CVS CORPORATE Policy is to accept B1G1 Q's with B1G1 Sales so you don't have to "trick" the cashier or register into not beeping. I always hand over the card first thing and never have a problem. If you have trouble I would call CS right at the register.

Funny! I'm in Fl too and give ecbs before manu q's to lower my taxable amt.

ECBs cannot pay tax. MQs can. This does vary by state, and some lucky ducks don't pay sales tax, so the before/after is moot for them.

If your total is going to be 10.00 with .50 tax (total of 10.50), and you want to use a 10ECB and .50MQ, here's how it would work:

MQ first, ECB second:
10.50 - .50 = 10.00 - 9.50ECB (adjusted down) = .50oop (tax)
[ECB will be adjusted down as it cannot pay for tax]

ECB first, MQ second:
10.50 - 10ECB = .50 - .50MQ = 0.00oop

Our sales tax is 9.75% (TN). Might as well say 10 cents on every dollar.

Anywho, we've tried manu Q, then ECB and our OOP was always considerably higher. That is why we now do it ECB then manu Qs. Made a BIG difference in our OOP.
To each their own though. Whatever seems to work for you and makes you happy is what you should do.

EXACTLY! That is how it works for us by going ECB then manu coupons.

I've not seen any discussion yet about the bandaid/neosporin deal on pg 17. The deal looks really vague/confusing to me. Can anyone figure it out?
