Lowes Foods: Pop-Tarts working for Kellogg's deal????

Sorry i didn't post this in the kellogg's thread, but since the sale ends tomorrow I need urgent response!

I was at the Oliver's Crossing store today getting Special K. The manager/supervisor girl told me that Pop Tarts are 2/$5 and that they would print out a $10 coupon if I bought 4. She also said that the sale ends tomorrow(I am guessing the $10 cat is what she meant)...I didn't have my coupons with me so I couldn't test it out, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried this? If you could let me know that would be great b/c I have pop tarts coupons. Thanks in advance!

I tried this about 2 weeks ago after I did the Kellogs cereal deal. Pop-Tarts were on sale and I took a chance to see if they were included. I DID NOT get a catalina, but I did get the Pop Tarts for about .50 a box.

I just did this deal at the Idlewild & 485 store in Matthews, NC. I bought 4 of the 12 count at 2/$5 and received a $10 oyno.

I did frosted cherry, frosted strawberry, and brown sugar. All 12 packs on sale 2/$5. I bought 4 every time and used the $.85 on 2 coupon. Got the $10 cat w/o any problem. Very sweet deal. I wish it didn't end today.

now i wish i had gone!!! i didn't even bother to go try b/c i didn't think it would work. ugh! its ok....i need to pass up a deal every once in a while.
