    5swan....Is the hobby lobby intact?

Also is the Lowes actually open? Are they letting anyone in on the Sam's Club side? I went to pittsburg to the Home depot..as we need to replace our oven. Everything was $200-$300 dollars more..and I really don't wanna have to go to Tulsa. I'd rather buy it in Joplin and help get there economy going again...but not sure how long that portion that wasn't hit...is closed down.

I haven't heard specifically about Hobby Lobby, but I think it got damage - places all around it have major damage - so I would assume so.

Lowes is open, DH went there yesterday. Sam's is open, b/c they had a free day yesterday. They have strict borders around where you can not go, and permits are needed to get inside the destruction area.

Here is a short list that is coming out of two churches that are distribution places of what is needed if you are wanting to donate.

Towels, Peanut Butter, Laundry Detergent, Pain relievers especially for children, Tylenol, batteries, flashlights, large sized women's clothing, large sized men's underwear, hair products for African American hair, denture cleaning supplies.

The Hobby Lobby is still there and actually open! I went out today and saw the destruction. Words can NOT describe it at all.

Did you see the burger king? My sister was amazed because the play structure is still there!

we are either heading in Sunday or Monday. If the Westboro bunch show up Sunday...we are planning on helping be a human shield. My sister drove near there on her way back from Arkansas and she was amazed at the sheer damage that you could see even not going into joplin. The houses looking like they had exploded from the inside out and the tree's debarked.

Our church will be working for the next 6 weekends boarding up houses/or demo..whatever is needed...so we will be busy for the summer.

I'm going to Dillons today in Pittsburg and I think they still have some progestermil on clearance...which can also be used if they can't get nutramagin or alimentum.
toys r us has the small 2oz 6 or 8 pack rtf formulas on sale through memorial day for 5$, limit is 3 and and there is the similac neosure right on the ad..., so they would be free with the 5$ coupons, and they are rtf so may be better for those w/o power...
