One of the KFCs here had to shut down, apparently, at least for a little while. My mom saw it on the news last night and she told me about it this morning. I am holding on to my coupons for at least a few days - LOL!

We had to wait on Tuesday evening for 8 minutes while they cooked....but they at least had the food.

In fact, the cashier even gave us free drinks for having to wait....so it was 100% free dinner. :-)

Our kfc ran out of grilled chicken so substituted original recipie chicken last night. We had to wait almost an hour, so we just took the original recipie meal. I'll wait a little bit to try the grilled chicken parade magazine coupons.

Went today and my KFC took my coupon, had me fill out a form and said they would mail me a coupon at a later date. They said none of the stores were honoring the q's anymore and we'd all have to fill out the form and wait for a q in the mail. The sign on the door said that they couldn't give out chicken today and when I asked them about tomorrow, that's when they said they weren't planning on redeeming any of the q's (except by the procedure I stated above). They did say they would still accept the single piece q's (of course, I didn't have any with me).

I just called KFC 800 # and all Kisha could say was "wow" - apparently my store was lying to me (as if I didn't already know that LOL). Waiting to hear back from them.

Well crap - just clicked the link and saw this:

"On Thursday, KFC president Roger Eaton issued an apology for the coupon fiasco, but said the chicken giant will no longer accept the coupons."

You can take your Qs to the store to get a raincheck for a later date. You have to fill out a form and mail it in.
