Wow!! Thanks for the heads up. Who knew we could have this connection through HCW. Thanks! I'm in Northwest Florida but sure is nice to be prepared cuz you never know. :shrug7:
Ok... I just wanted to let my other follow floridian couponers and friends here that there is another tropical depression out to the east of Puerto Rico.
My source is my father who works for news channel 25 in West Palm Beach. He wanted to give me the heads up to get supplies while there is a 'calm' in these next couple of days.
I asked why they haven't mentioned it and he says it is because they are concerned that people are already stressed out about Faye, and they want to take it 'a step at a time'.
This next one (I am not sure the name it has) is supposed to get stronger than Faye, and is heading toward south FL.
If we can use this thread to point out deals in the FL area on bottled water, non-perishables, batteries, etc, that would be great! TIA

Oh my. I really do hope everyone down there is ok. I know that Faye wasn't as bad as it could be. But I hate to hear that ya all aren't even gonna be able to have the water go away before more comes in. Ya all take care.

When I get more details from my father tonight, I will let you all know! The rain stopped hours ago here in West Palm, but the wind is still a-blowin'!

I always go to the NOAA site : National Hurricane Center . It gives you the info and that depression is on their map. It's that round orange circle out there. Hover your mouse over it and it gives a little info.
I don't get hurricanes here, but we do get the remnants of the Pacific typhoons. Usually a couple times during the winter we have wind storms that have 100+mph gusts, but they aren't called hurricanes here.
So anyway, check out the NOAA site. Has information for you.

There isn't another tropical depression out there, there is a possibility of development way out in the Atlantic, but there is nothing formed yet.
Hi
Thanks for the information. I'm in Central Florida and were getting the heavy
winds from Fay.
I think I saw something on the news the other day. I remember the weatherman pointing to a system but I had the sound muted.
