I seen something similar to this on web videos on Youtube. Its a scary thought!
First off dont read this if you suffer from anxiety.
I stumpled across some Utube videos while watching HCW vidoes. There were talking of Americas imminent collapse in Sept 08. I watched several utube videos on it. Then did some googling and found articles.
Here is a good one thats not too long

May 19, 2008 Economic Collapse in September? Clif Droke 321gold . . . s
According to the Australia.TO newspaper, as reported in the May 2008 Last Trumpet Newsletter (LTM), several congressmen were so incensed about what was discussed behind those doors that they were compelled to leak the contents of the meeting. Following is what is rumored to have been discussed: Imminent collapse of the U.S. and possible civil war within.
Now this struck fear in me, (I shouldnt be reading this stuff). But I think it could possibly be true. All kinds of things start running through my head. What do you guys think of it all?

Yep, not sure when it will all go down but I do believe it is going to happen. Americans are already becoming restless with the rising prices, gonna be a nightmare when gas goes to $6 or more per gallon. Civil war indeed.
Amero, yep...already saw pictures of them, its coming.
I have felt for sometime now that sooner or later something has to give. With prices rising the way they are people can't keep up. Its scary to think about but I believe something bad is coming.
I am getting scared also.
Stock pile.
I have expanded my normal meat and condiments summer stockpiling efforts this year. The sales make it where the condiments in my area are nearly free and with rebates even a money maker.
I try to hold out until the rebates and summer sales to restock the ketchup/mustard/mayo/pickle stockpile.
Read the stockpiling thread about the sale cycles.
For months now, my household has been rolling our rebates on grocery and hba and using that money for groceries rebates over and over again.
I take my $15 pizza check and buy $15 worth of meat and send that in for the next rebate, or my $9.99 rebate on nuts and buy the 4 12 packs of pepsi for $10 and send that in for the $10 rebate.
This month I am buying a few extra things.
In addition to my stockpile items I am using ok deal coupons to include tuna pouches, soy milk, canned chicken and brown rice.
I don't know how much higher the gas prices will be getting, but I may even replace my broken bread maker for the just in case situation.
We even have a few garden plants to help out in the fall with produce. Granted the local market is only 10 minutes away and is my cheapest expense, but if gas is $5.50 a gallon - my suv will be parked except for a couple of days a month.
We are planting a few fruit trees for the future.
I read theshoppingcarteconomist blog (from our own hotcouponmama) about future fruit prices and that buying fruit and nut trees is a smart thing right now. Especially if you hadn't made plans for that stimulus check.
We had $200 left of ours so trees/vines it is. Takes 2/3 seasons for most items to mature like thornless blackberries, grapes, and even some fruit trees will bear in 2 years.
I didn't know my area would sustain kiwi. We love kiwi!~
We have toying with the idea of an orchard for 15 years. We keep saying, if we had planted them b4 dh was born...... so this year we are.
It's not the smartest time to be planting them, but they can still survive if we get them planted soon.

I think we are facing the likes of the great depression. Those folks were not spoiled like we are. It will certainly be like nothing we have seen in our lifetime. Stockpiling.....

Yes I think it would be harder on people now than it was before. Alot of people I know live on convience foods daily, Im not sure if they really know how to cook stuff from scratch. We already eat from scratch alot and use our garden. Just need to think about some fruit trees.
My late grandfather lived the depression age, he was very frugal untill his death. Already the way America lives is changing. Its very easy to think no way this will happen to us, but if you take a look at worlds history through the ages. Its very possible that a great country can fall, its happened time and time again.
