My hubby is a trucker too,and the best thing we found was a power inverter/converter. You plug it into the lighter and it runs any plug-in appliance.A small fridge works wonderful for meats cheeses sodas & water. That way he can also buy sub sandwiches and keep them untill lunch the next day if need be,just ask for the toppings on the side. It helps a lot. I also like the hotpot idea sometimes,theres not many facilities where he needs to stop, this way he could always wash his face & hand,if he carried extra water,
