Slept in this morning. It was so great to do that!!
Showered, went to Target and Meijer to pick up a few things
Came home cleaned off all the snow off of both tiers of the deck
vacuumed
wiped down kitchen
now Im just chillin

Im gonna try and talk hubby into going out to dinner tonight...I REALLY want mexican!

Target for new carseat for DD...grandparents are buying the new seat(on sale) and then DD's seat will be for tadpole.
Ate lunch.
Chicken cooked and chicken and dumplings started.

Okay I unloaded the dishwasher, loaded with dishwasher with DH, did the recycleables, marked dates on stockpile items, put them downstairs in rotation, walked 1/2 mile on the treadmill, wiped off two counters in the kitchen, cleaned out the windowsill, got 25 more items gone out of the house & now I'm doing laundry.

Got all the laundry done, put away all the items I bought from this past week, cleaned off all the counters, made dinner, vacummed the kitchen and put away a ton of other junk. Tommorrow I will be cleaning out the fridge & freezer top to bottom, finish putting up my Christmas stuff that is in the bookshelves and make a run to LF. If I have time I do more decluttering because I'm missing something I need!

EP Doesn't know the meaning of the word rest.

Today was another lazy day. I just can't seem to find any motivation. We went to moms and got the generator set up for her so she has some power until hers gets restored from the storm. Stopped at McD's for lunch. Made a return at Best buy. Came home, cut the maple tree that was bent over the driveway, reattached the gutters where they pulled away from the house in the storm. Did dishes, washed a couple loads of laundry and then spent the rest of the day vegging.

I was going to but after I took a shower and went to file the taxes I decided I had to do some cleaning. I've been so sick off and on lately the housework has gotten out of control and we still have boxes of stuff in the garage and in the sunroom entry way. The holidays/DS sickness and my sickness just put it all to a halt. So back to work we go. DH did help me some. Bless his heart he is upset about his mom right now. His parents have been through so much lately.

Got up at the butt crack of dawn to follow my husband to a town an hour away to have some warranty work done on his motorcycle. While in that town, I shopped for yarn (yay wool!), shopped for curtains (since the same dog that has eaten a recliner and a couch shredded the only decent curtains I have... or had), bought some batting (clearance marked at 49 cents a bag!) to make a couple of cheap dog beds since Destructo Dog has annihilated every bed she's had (I'll be re-purposing the mauled up curtains for this project since I don't have it in me to spend a lot of money on what's likely going to be shredded, anyway), and gave my car a bath. Oh, and even though I said I'd never spend the money on these hideous things, I bought some Crocs for work. They go awesome with cotton crochet socks, and my feet do get wet on my job. My husband mocked me because of how much time I've spent smack-talking Crocs. Oh well, they're still ugly, but perfect for work. It is ridiculous how big my feet are to be only barely over 5'2". Big feet, big boobs, short, stumpy limbs, good grief, I'm a cartoon character.

After we picked the bike up, we drove the hour back to Hometown and stopped at Lowes to look at lumber for a project to keep Destructo Dog out of our big bay window. I'm going to make sort of a barrier so she can't get right into the window and nut up at every passing squirrel or brat she sees in my yard, and I can't decide between some kind of beadboard or maybe just some plywood ripped into strips and painted. I'm thinking there's really no way to un-tacky up a boarded up window.

Went to Publix and Harvey's and did some grocery shopping. Came home and made some wool socks. Yay for comfy wool socks. Boo that they take forfreakingever to make.
