I buy everything at Amazon LOL.. we bought the Prime membership and it's totally worth The shipping on Amazon can kill ya lol.
I buy books, toys for the grandkids... gifts for everyone at Christmas! I guess I should check in to Amazon anonymous! LOL
Right before Christmas I ordered an inflatable mattress to take with us when we went to visit DD. Amazon offered me a trail membership of Prime and I accepted so I could get the free shipping. Since then I’ve placed two other orders and took advantage of the free shipping.
My free trial will be up soon and I’m trying to determine if Prime is worth keeping. I did place three orders within one month but they were things I was going to buy anyway and found that Amazon was cheaper because of the free shipping.
I’m not sure though that I would continue to find things I need to order that often. But then I imagine that Amazon has a ton of things I never considered ordering online. But are they good enough deals to warrant a $79 yearly membership fee?
What do you buy from Amazon? Let's hear about the deals.

I'm right there at AA with chey!! I LOVE Amazon. I've been stocking up on diapers there using Amazon gcs, subscribe & save, and Amazon Mom. We placed 12 orders from 11/20ish to 12/18! We bought a TV there last year. I buy toys, books, gifts, diapers, iPad stylus and stand, other food items (got a 12pk of Kraft parmesan cheese for under $22 this year!), a car seat. They literally have everything!
I have a paid Prime membership which includes streaming. I have found the $79 yr fee to be worth it for us. My parents have us order stuff for them on my account so they get the free 2 day shipping as well. You can share the membership between accounts, so maybe see if a family member wants to split it with you.
I used a year free with Amazon mom and I was so hooked on free shipping, I had to pay for the Prime. I buy most if not all store bought Christmas gifts there, bulk groceries, books, and even things like gloves for DH and plastic coupon pages for me. My mom is also on my account so she orders things for the kids and birthday gifts and stuff.
I got hooked on Amazon Prime when my dd got the free year of Amazon Prime offered to students.
Her membership expires in February and I'm so sad, because I just can't make myself pay.
If they had better selection with their streaming video, I'd go for it, but as it is, it's really bad. Very poor selection.
I do buy the Breeze cat litter supplies on their Subscribe & Save program. That's the best deal I can find anywhere.
And we have what seems to be a lifetime supply of Parmesan cheese in the freezer like Amylynne mentioned![]()
I think the only thing I've bought on Amazon is Lady Gaga's latest album because it was 99 cents on the day it was released. I love the idea of the convenience of Amazon. I guess I just don't buy much stuff.

Tons. I got a free year of Prime through Amazon Mom and my mom and I split the cost of the renewal. We both spent way more than $6.67 a month on extra stuff to get up to the free shipping threshold. Now we don't worry about it.
I buy diapers, tons of toys, books, carpet cleaners, floor steamers, vanilla beans, apple peelers, costumes, movies, toilet paper on occasion.
Oh and my mom has a Kindle, so she can get 12 books a year through the Lending Library.

We aren't currently Prime Members, but I think we will be subscribing next time we order. I have a Kindle, so I would benefit from the free books. As far as ordering, we order toys, shoes, video gaming accessories, and sometimes food items. Amazon is great for preordering books because of their preordering guarantee.

I also had a free Prime membership a while back. I used the heck out of it too and I still buy from Amazon although I haven't purchased anything in a few months. The products I buy have run the gamut - from food items (there's another thread named almost exactly like this one about those) to Zeno refills to used textbooks and music.
I didn't pay to continue the Prime when it expired. I almost always get free shipping on my stuff anyway and I can wait the few days it takes over paying the Prime fee again.

I just use the Super Saver shipping, which is free shipping wyb over $25 worth. Of course there are some items that aren't, so I just don't buy those. I bought my Sitram skillets through them...cheapest I could find them. Some books/coloring books. I didn't buy any Christmas stuff fromt hem this past year, but I did the year before. Some kitchen items that I can't get here.
Not a whole lot, really. I save up my gift codes from a board I'm on, so it all ends up being "free". Have never bought any food items.
