I LOVE Amazon. Seriously. A little over a year ago there was a freebie on here that you got two years of Amazon Prime free if you were a student (with your school e-mail). Did I take advantage of it?? Heeeeccck yes! Lol. I have a wish list a mile long. I can spend quite some time searching for deals on there for stuff I need. Once my free membership is up, I would purchase it. I calculated how much I have ordered in the last year and in the shipping alone it would have been around $250.

We had bought a Frieling french press a couple years ago and loved it, so decided to buy a second one. Nothing like stainless steel with nothing to break. When the second one arrived, the press part didn't go down right. It scraped and rubbed. Tried it in our first one and it was fine. The pot itself was "out-of-round". lol Odd. I contacted Frieling rather than Amazon, telling them that was where I bought it.

They were quite concerned and immediately sent me a new pot and I returned the odd one to them directly. They sent me a return label and everything. So even though I didn't deal with Amazon for the return, the company was wonderful about it.

I find it weird that sometimes with the free shipping after $25, that the item "won't ship to my default address" which is a PO box. Especially with smaller stuff like a video game. Haven't done it lately, but I'd end up with half the order coming USPS and the other half coming UPS/Fedex...which is astronomically expensive to here. lol I just feel silly having little things come by UPS. I know it's totally different in the lower 48, but I feel like it's wasting the drivers time to have to come all the way out here to deliver something like that.

OT but I feel that way with product tests, like I got a can of soup, or a bottle of juice, and it's not generically labeled. They shipped it UPS...would been cheaper to send a coupon for a free item *shrug* wahtever

I'd rather have the item. So many times the item the coupon is for is not available here.

Send me the coupon. Then I'll hold onto it until a sale comes along that makes it a money maker, or fills in for a Buy x items/get y....

You can also look at the other string that pertains to purchasing items on Amazon.

What food items do you ladies buy on Amazon.com?

Oh my, I live off Amazon. Our town is pretty small and the next one over is about 30 miles away so it's much easier (and cheaper than gas with free super saver shipping over $25).

Let's see what I've ordered in the last 30 days (mostly with gift cards this time!):

-Walking foot for my sewing machine
-Garbage disposal (ours is leaking, but luckily we got a gift card for christmas)
-(2) Feliaway to hopefully put my fighting male cats at ease
-(2) racks/baskets to help organize our kitchen cabinets
-Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Refills (pack of 6)

I always price check stuff against amazon because amazon is usually cheaper.

You can also use camelcamelcamel.com to track the price of an item over the last couple of months to a year and have it alert you if it goes under a certain price. I love that website!
