Wow! When I was pregnant I just didn't believe it because I had been late so many times. Then I had 5 threatened miscarriages. No pain and had I not known I was pregnant I would have thought it was my period.
The only real shape changes were a slightly larger weight and a bra size that went from 38C to 44F.
I wore regular clothes, just a size larger until close to the end. I did find that I needed maternity panties.
So it is possible had I not had the test done and had I not been old enough to know to check, I might not have known.
I was about 24 weeks pregnant when I found out. I have never had a regular cycle, and I didn't have morning sickness, so the only way I realized was that I gained about 5 pounds (and back then my weight never fluctuated) and I started having to pee all of the time. Someone I worked with at the time said "could you be pregnant?" and I just laughed it off because I was always told I wouldn't be able to have children or it would be REALLY hard for me. But I took a home test and it was positive. I went to the doctor about a week later and was told I was about 24 and a half weeks along (which was about 5 and a half months!) and I had my ultrasound and found out it was a girl on that first visit. I always say DD is my miracle baby :-)
