What are your hobbies?

What do you like to do for fun? Please tell us about your hobbies.

I will start first. I love couponing!!! I also like computers, bowling, shopping, going to scenic places, arts and crafts, reading, watching movies and tv. Anything else you want to know, just ask!!!

I know this is going to sound kind of boring but when I do get time to myself, I like to:

bake bread
make cookies
can jams and salsa
read
arts & crafts

I have three boys under 5 so I don't have a lot of extra time. When I do have spare time I prefer quiet soothing activities - they are crazy energetic and I sometimes just need to zone out a little.

When I do get free time I enjoy

reading
relaxing on HCW
if its warm out, sitting in the sun/lounging in my pool
riding 4 wheelers out in the open
bowling with the family

I do baking and canning and that sort of thing, but I don't think I consider them hobbies as much as just Stuff I Do. I guess my crochet and wood work would be hobbies even though I intend to sell it? Those would be my constructive hobbies. Useless hobbies include tv and internet goof-offery. I need to start sticking my nose back into books. I miss reading, and I think the convenience of the internet in my pocket has made my mind lazy.

The canning thing for me is relaxing. I think it has something to do with the fact the I shoo everyone else out of the room and I get to be by myself, something that doesn't happen often. It's a thing I've grown to love doing.

I didn't mean to imply that I don't think it can be a hobby. I just meant that it's not something I especially enjoy but do just because it needs to be done, so I wasn't sure whether to consider it a hobby. I'm thinking no (for me). I am sure others find it a fun and relaxing hobby.

I like to read, go camping and hiking (though haven't done them in a while), cook, garden, and arts and crafts (mostly arts). Used to include running before I tore my calf. Hopefully Ill get to add that one back to the list soon.

Hobbies? Wish I had more time for those!! I like to read, scrapbook, exercise, organize, cook, bake, volunteer at the local shelter.Sadly I have not done any of these things in quite a long time I really need to get back into scrapbooking. I have around 12 scrapbooks I made for my son with his baby pics. For DD, I only have 2.
