I would see what was the most cost effective. If it costs more in gas than what you are saving, then it isn't worth it.
Guess I am just venting. I started couponing and was on a roll. Then, I left my job that both paid for my coupponing habit and was located in a part of town where there wasn't much couponing competition. So now I'm broke with even less money to spend on groceries. Even when there is a deal that I can't pass up, all the vultures beat me to it. So my motivation has died.
I have been living off my stockpile while looking for another job and of course hubby gets laid off. Thank goodness I have the stockpile!
I actually took a break from couponing all together for a while but I want to get back to it. Do you think I should make the extra half hour or sop drive to shop the places where I am pretty sure I can find my deals? Or just stop couponing?
I do miss thay rush tho...
Thanks for listening to me complain :)
Well, I wouldn't spend money I didn't have or couldn't afford. It's good that you have a stockpile, and can get by. Maybe when things are better, consider going back to it.
