Now It's 60 Degrees!!

Wow, it only got to about 50 on us today. It was beautiful. Sunny & warm...It felt great!!

Hey!!! I didn't realize it was YOU that was sending us this stuff!! Stop it!!! LOL!

My hubby is off work today (he's Mon-Fri, so this is his holiday). But he had to go in, so he could put down salt and clear the parking lot. He drove my car, and said he slid all over the place! So, now he's in the garage, rotating my tires to see if that helps. If not...we've got find some money for new tires for the front end of my car.

I do like looking at snow when it's falling. It's so pretty. But I'm not a wintertime gal! I don't like to be cold...don't like how my feet (and the backs of my pants) get wet when I walk in a parking lot after it snows...and I'm not a fan of cleaning up the salt residue on my carpet, either!!

So forgive me if I sound grumpy. I still love ya!

We drove home from our vaca on the 2nd and saw the truck in front of us slide right off the highway into the guard rail...it was scary! LUCKILY, we had to replace our tires while on vaca cause one of them started to separate and they all had low tread. I owe that to us not sliding much at all... cause the roads were a beast. I think our car thermometer read 14 degrees at one point coming through TN.

That next night it was even 18 degrees here in DC...today its supposed to be 61 Definitely some crazy weather goin on.

Oh and you should get some rain boots. I wear mine with warm socks every time it snows, viola, no more wet pants :)

Yesterday and today have been wonderful. 60 yesterday and 50-something today. I think I may drag the kids to the park and do the dt coke and mentos thing that we didn't do at Christmas time. Perfect day for something like that.

It was in the 50's yesterday in central Il. I'm really happy that it's warm but our trees are starting to bud. I'm afraid that when the really cold weather sets in the trees will be damaged.
