OK, I have to ask this, cause my kids are in their 20's now so maybe I'm missing something. Do you actually have a big truck full of tv's and the such coming to your house? Or looking for ways to decorate using that theme?
Hello, Just wanted to see if there was anyone out there that could help me out with some ideas for my Son's Birthday party?
He is turning 12 next week and we are having a "Big Time game Truck" party. Basically, its a Party trailer filled with TV's and game consoles that comes to your house. Well, I was wanting to do a Call Of Duty Modern WArefare 3 theme? But I really dont have any ideas?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! :-D Thank you!!

If I'm understanding this correctly- you have a party truck coming to your house? and you want to do something more than that? Wow!
I would say don't worry about gift bags. It might be overkill and too "kiddish" for 12 yo. If you feel like you have to do gift bags, Oriental trading has dog tags and army bracelets. Camouflage Army Sayings Bracelets, Bracelets, Novelty Jewelry, Party Themes & Events - Oriental Trading
For food, I would do pizza, wings, spicy buffalo dip, nachos, tortillas, etc. The 12 yo I know (I'm a teacher) like grown-up/superbowl style food. Or, if you know someone in the military, it would be supercool to serve MRE rations. You could always ask the kids to wear cammo, and have cammo face paint. This sort of depends on the maturity level of the boys coming, though.
I'm a bit paranoid, but I'd check with the parents 1st to make sure their kids are allowed to watch/play rated-M games. (Maybe you've already thought of that, though.)
Good luck! and let us know how it turns out. It sounds like it will be fun!
How many days until summer?
I have what a twelve year old, and I second the check with the parents first idea. My child would not be allowed to watch/play rated-M games. :)
I found a really cool and easy recipe for camo cupcakes that i am going to make an attempt at making. I'm slowly coming up with ideas for decorations. Thanks for the food suggestion. Think that is what I am going to go with.
I understand the concerns about contacting the childrens parents to advise them that a rated: M game will be available to play. Luckily, most of the kids attending are relatives and share the same views in regards to these type of games. My Son only invited 4 boys from school. I have spoke with the parent of one child who has responded and advised her that MW3 is available. Also, for the younger children they will be able to play different games since there is several TV's and consoles to choose from.
Thank you for the suggestions! :-)
