I went yesterday to get DS and I an iphone4. We signed up with Sprint since they still have unlimited data and we already had a contract with them. Well we got home and were really unhappy because the internet connection was so slow and we kept getting dropped calls in our own house.
So we took the phones back and decided to go with Verizon. I hate that they don't offer the unlimited data package now. We decided to go with 2 GB of data for DS and I. I am now wondering if that will be enough. I think it will be enough for me since I prefer to use my laptop and I don't watch videos or anything but my son loves youtube and I read online where it takes up alot of the data usage. We are already paying $30.00 per phone for the 2GB and our bill for 3 people is already going to be over $200.00 so I don't really want to spend more than I have to.
I have no clue what 2Gb really is and if that is going to be enough for my son?? Help![]()

Isn't the current promo to double the 2GB to 4GB?
My dh just got an iPhone a month ago, and even though he's used it quite a bit he's been ok on the data. He didn't realize he was limited at first, until he got the notification that he'd used 1/2 his data with 6 days left on the cycle.
I have unlimited data (grandfathered in) which is good because I use more than he does.
He doesn't watch movies and stuff, which I understand really drives up the data usage.
Definitely sign up for notifications. They'll text or email when you reach 50% and again 75%. helps prevent one of those nasty surprises.
