DOGS!!!!!

Just got home from dinner to find my dogs had pulled a bag with snacks in it off the table and eaten them. I am mad and actually kind of scared at the same time. They ate a whole 8oz bag of nuts with salt and garlic herbs...all things that can be bad.

I gave them peroxide and one has vomited some but not the other

Get ready for garlicy poots! On the serious side, I'm sure they'll be ok. I have to keep everything out of reach of my hoodlums, they'll eat practically anything!

I am mad at myself for not putting it further out of reach, and the Dachshund cause I have no doubt that he was the one that actually pulled it off the table.

I am keeping an eye on them. I hope it just ends up being stomach upset, but kind of sucks with just that too. We are gonna be in the car all day tomorrow. I don't want to have to keep stopping to clean up dog vomit.

I am really just worried about my other Schnauzer cause he is the one that didn't vomit, and he already gets Pancreatitis frequently for no apparent reason.

Hope your fur babies are ok! Our golden retriever likes to counter surf. He especially likes bread. Before we leave I have to check the counters to make sure there's nothing he can get to....

Ugh, a car trip with 2 possibly queezy pooches?? I hope they are doing much better this morning!! Take along plenty of towels, resolve & trash bags just in case!! And have a safe (& clean ) trip!!

Oh I definitely will be prepared. I thikn I'm gonna line the seats with trash bags.

I'm a little more hopeful today though. Wasn't too happy about it at the time, but both dogs vomited multiple times during the night. Hopefully they got it all out.

Dogs will eat anything. I know someone whose pit bull ate an entire pair of nylon stockings. It seemed to have no ill effects.
