SMILE *New iPhone question-need help if you have one*

Bought my son one for Christmas-he is saying he needs a credit card number, etc. for the app store. It looks legit to me-do you all do it?

The newly modified iPhone 4 is much better than the first version, where calls cut out if you put your finger in one particular spot.

Sadly, I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPod touch which is nearly the same except for the phone part. Apple's products are amazing, easy to use, and good customer service. The big negative I have is the monthly contract amount. Check out the monthly costs before signing up. We can't afford $80-120/month for a cell phone, so that's why I have an iPod touch instead.

I heart my iPhone 4. My DH hearts his iPhone 4. My dad hearts his iPhone 4S. My sister hearts her iPhone 4. None of us have any complaints with it at all. I had a Blackberry before this, and there is no comparison - the Apple outperforms in every area. DH had an Android, and although he loved it, I think he actually prefers the iPhone.

We have a family plan with my parents, so 3 iPhones and my mom's non-smartphone. We pay $200 a month for all 4 lines which includes data and texting plans on 3 lines, and a 22% employer discount on just the phone costs (not data/texting).

I have the iPhone 4 and I love it (too). It's my first smartphone so I can't compare it to others on the market, but it's so intuitive and easy to use. I do pay $80 a month for phone service and data plan, and that's after my employer discount. I went from paying about $10 a month with my Tracfone to $80 a month for the iPhone and I think it's worth every penny.

I am pretty much a technophobe who doesn't care much for gadgets and gizmos and fancy electronics, and I'm ridiculously cheap on top of it. I love love love my iPhone, though. It's super simple to use, reliable, convenient. I love that I can store my music on it and just plug it into the car for music or hands free phone that comes in through the stereo speakers. I use it to schedule appointments on my job, keep track of my shopping lists, set reminders, and as an occasional flashlight. I keep all my store cards on it so that I don't have to keep up with key tags and cards, and I'm able to scan products in a store and have it check prices of that item at competing stores. Probably 99% of my internet time is on the phone. I have an older 3Gs model with an updated operating system, and I will keep it until it dies before I get a newer model. I don't care about latest and greatest. I'm not the most organized or efficient person since I often seem to be pulled in about a million different directions at once, but my iPhone has dramatically improved my organization and efficiency and has been worth every penny for me. I will eagerly buy another when this one craps out. I don't have any experience with other smart phones, though, so I can't compare, but I freaking love my iPhone. Probably the best thing about it is that it's technophobe-friendly. I didn't need an engineering degree to figure out how to work it.

My DH loves his iphone 4. I swore I would never get an iphone just because I could never justify the added expense of having a smartphone (DH uses his for work) but I finally broke down and DS and I are getting one next week.

DS saved his money for the iphone 4S and he also saved enough to give me money every month for a year for his data. So I told him he could get an iphone. After I looked into what it would cost for him to have a smartphone and for me to have a regular phone it would be cheaper for us both to have iphones and do the family unlimited plan through sprint. I have an employee discount plus $20.00 off every month that never expires because of several billing issues I had with them in the past.

I really hate that Verizon doesn't have unlimited data anymore. I wanted to switch to Verizon after my contract with Sprint expired since we do not get good reception with Sprint in our house and other places

It will cost us about $120 a month for DS and I to have an iphone and unlimited data and texting. DH has a plan through Verizon (he switched before they got rid of unlimited data plans)

Anyways I am excited to get my new iphone
